About HIVE

The Health Innovation Virtual Engagement (HIVE) is a cross-specialty learning community for Canadian physicians, chaired by Dr. Gordon Sussman, MD, FRCP(C), FACP, FAAAAI, to support collaboration and enhance understanding of the condition of urticaria. Sign up for HIVE here.

HIVE has been created to sustain a connection amongst dermatologists, allergists, immunologists and others who treat urticaria, to exchange clinical findings and professional perspectives, promoting the highest level of care in Canada.

You will receive a weekly email digest with curated articles from sources identified by the HIVE faculty as well as periodic learning opportunities including online discussions, podcasts, webinars and polls.

LegitiMed will be managing this virtual community residing on Sosido (sosido.com).

If you are a member of HIVE, log in here to the HIVE community on Sosido. If you aren’t currently a HIVE member, you are invited to sign up here or contact paul.abbass@legitimed.com.

Thank you to Novartis Canada for their financial support of this initiative.

The HIVE community is designed for the scientific exchange of information between Healthcare Professionals and is made possible with financial support from Novartis Canada. Novartis does not itself monitor the discussions. However a third-party service provider does review the discussions only for the purpose of identifying any potential AE discussion. This review is required since as a drug manufacturer, Novartis has a regulatory obligation to report any AE that (directly or indirectly) comes to their attention. The third-party will only report the potential AE discussion and will include contact information. Should your post be reported to patient safety, you will be contacted by the third-party service provider to determine if you would like Novartis patient safety to contact you for more details.
